I love DIY (yes, including plumbing) and anything creative!

My name is Rachel, you can call me Ching. I am the creator of this blog. I am a mama of 2 little boys, ages 3 and a 9-month old. I am a nurse from the Philippines and currently living in the US, with my growing family.

Ever since I was young, I already have creative and humble beginnings. My mother owned a dress shop and my father built our first car from scratch. I am so proud of them, that they inspired me to be creative. I never thought you can make beautiful things with your own hands from scratch!

I began my crafting journey with cardmaking. Since we didn't have much growing up, making cards was so inexpensive and I gave them out, as a sign of my appreciation to the receivers. I started collecting all kinds of tools and experimenting with different materials. I then realized I like making boxes as well, and so, my creativity just keeps growing. One thing opens up to another and so forth. I immerse myself with all of the resources that are available, which help me improve my hobbies and adding new interests.

My favorite celebrity crafter is Carol Duvall. I watched The Carol Duvall Show on HGTV, whenever I get the chance. I was in high school back then. Other than doing different kinds of crafting, she also invited other experts with their own skills to show it to her audience. I was really in awe, and actually wondered if I could ever get to try them out, and that's what I have been doing ever since.

It is really nice to be able to create something personal and unique, especially when you give it to someone you care and love.

My aim is to express my creativity, thoughts, experiences, and anything in between, as well as inspire you through this blog. I really hope you find value in any way, from what I share.
